1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that websites place on your device when you visit them. They let us remember you between visits and understand how PrimeDrive is being used. We also use similar technologies (like local storage and pixel tags) — we refer to them all as "cookies" here for simplicity.
2. The cookies we use
Strictly necessary
These keep the Service working — login sessions, security tokens, fraud-detection flags, your cookie-consent choice. We can't turn them off and you can't reject them without breaking the site.
- pd_session — keeps you logged in.
- pd_csrf — protects your account from cross-site request forgery.
- pd_cookies_v1 — remembers your choice on this banner.
Performance & analytics
These help us see which pages are loved and which are broken. The data is aggregated — we never look at an individual user.
- pd_anon_id — a random ID that lets us measure visits without tying them to your name.
- _plausible — set by our privacy-friendly analytics provider.
Preferences
Remember the small choices: preferred city filter, dark/light mode, language.
- pd_prefs — your UI preferences.
Marketing
Only set if you accept marketing cookies. We use them to measure which campaigns brought you in and to show you relevant updates if you've visited before.
- pd_campaign — records the campaign that referred you.
- _fbp / _ttp — only set if you accept marketing cookies, used for ad measurement.
3. Managing your cookies
You can change your choice anytime by clicking the small "Cookies" link in the footer to re-open the banner. You can also clear cookies from your browser settings — but doing so will sign you out and reset your preferences.
4. Third-party services
A handful of trusted services set cookies on our behalf. Each is listed below with a link to their own privacy policy:
- Supabase — authentication & database.
- Plausible Analytics — anonymous usage analytics, no cross-site tracking.
- Orange Money & MyZaka — payment partners.
- Google Fonts — webfont delivery (no tracking).
5. Do-not-track
If your browser sends a "Do Not Track" signal, we honour it by suppressing all non-essential cookies — regardless of what you chose on the banner.
6. Changes
If we add new cookies we'll update this page and re-prompt you for consent where required.
